  Anonymous Review : "I first saw The Rangoons playing an improvised set at The Green Cat Holistic Book Saloon one winter solstice on the Isle of Crows. Out of the debris of a plane that had gone down a few weeks ago they had fashioned instruments and masks. We sat around coloured lanterns constricting ourselves in woven blankets; their sound, wild, untamed, fluttered through the air like a swarm of brimstone butterflies from the smouldering volcano to the ashen forests of that melancholy spot, location unknown.
  Something of the spirit of that fated day has been captured on this tape like a wasp in amber; and listening to it here in the rooms of my twilight in the city hives, I am transported back to that strange time, which I'm not sure ever even happened."
